Overview
While not slums in the economic sense of the words, the architectural style of kobolds does indeed make it look at least like a poorly constructed shanty town. Consisting of tents and ramshackle buildings, it houses most kobolds living on Eir andusk. Quick and nimble, many of these kobolds serve as sailors on the ships that call the ports of Eir Andusk home. Its kobold inhabitants call this district "Kobotown".
Layout and landmarks
Kobo Buy-Sell square: A small market, what it lacks in the grandure of the Greystone market, the prestige of the Yovun Golt market or the smells of the Swim-Fish market, it makes up for in "character". Many kobolds ply their trade here. It contains many shops and foodstalls catering to kobold sensibilities and tastes. Finding most of its clientelle in the kobold population, there are some outsiders that might find surprising articles among what others migth call junk.
Gnik Gnak's Knick-Knacks: A small shop in the Kobo Buy-Sell square. Sells everyday items and junk that work suprisingly well as weapons and armour.
Kobo Smash-Crush arena: An arena in the Kobold Slums, while seen as barbaric by the dragonborn, it attracts many fighters willing to make quick gold. The fights are very unbalanced and rarely moderated, but as long as the fighting continues, the kobolds don't care. The Eldritch Inquisition tolerates its excistence since it keeps some of the kobolds more negative urges in check. The arena master has a very lucrative deal with local bakers.

Economy and daily life
With little understanding of things of a monetary nature, kobold economies rely mostly on the trade of goods and services. This is also true for the kobold slums. The market is a lively place where many kobolds ply their trades, come to shop or share news and stories. It is a bustling hive of activity filled with the chatter and chittering of kobold voices. Though more and more outside traders have been visiting over the past years. Some to slake their curiosity or to maybe find some rare things of value among the apparent rubbish that is on display.
Culture and religion
Most kobolds that live in the slums could (if they were able to) trace their lineage back to the kobolds that settled on Eir Andusk to worship Armathar. After their defeat at the hands of Umbraxis, the worship of the silver dragen went somewhat out of favour. Some instead went on to worship Armathar's Strife, the volcano that loomes over Naal Ok Zin. Some kobolds are unhappy with the Gateway Custodians "interfering" with Armathar's Strife by preventing further eruptions.
