“If you’re heading up to the valley, check your seals and your courage. We sell both.” ~ local merchant

Sporehollow is a damp, half-swamp village sitting at the edge of fungal country. It exists mostly to support travelers and harvesters moving toward or away from Myco Valley. Buildings are raised on stone footings or stilts, with wide eaves and covered walkways. Pale moss and fungal growth creep close to the roads, kept back by regular burning and pruning. The air smells of wet earth and decay, though locals barely notice.

Food is safe only if purchased directly. Foraging is strongly discouraged. Outsiders are watched closely, but not unkindly.
