“Fine land, with an unnerving neighbor.” ~ homesteader
Nightwalker Basin sits between two mountain spines, a broad, quiet valley most folks avoid. At dusk a tall shape is said to stalk the floor, never close, never hurried, always there when you look twice. Some ranchers grumble that it would make fine grazing if the walker were dealt with. Rumors also say there’s an unopened vault here, well back along the valley floor.
