The Capture of Lothen’s Officials A group of high-ranking Lothen officials embarked on the Black Falcon to negotiate a secret trade for alleged dragon eggs on the Isle of Serkal. The deal, arranged by merchant [[Kaedros Var]], required only trusted officials to inspect and purchase the eggs.

Upon reaching the Isle of Serkal, the Black Falcon sailed into a trap. The dragon eggs were a fabricated lure by Sarta, aiming to seize key Lothen officials.
Pirates in Sarta’s employ attacked under heavy fog. The Black Falcon suffered rudder and mast damage early, preventing escape. After a brief but brutal fight, the ship was boarded and overrun. The five officials were taken alive and transported to Sarta.
The Nobles are held by the Stone Priestesses in the Sartian Mines. One of them, lord Veylan Dorn has been sacrificed. They are protected by the Priestesses and Kronus. They are willing to trade the Nobles, and the Egg, to end the war and Sarta remain autonomous. They have the Gorgonid Gods for protection, they don't need anything else. If they are betrayed though, the Gorgonid Gods will punish Lothen.
