Reynesse is a large nation, filled with lakes, forests, mountains and, rolling hills. In the north east, the great lake Baible dominates the mountainous basin, feeding into the River Tyius that forms the border between Auresia and Reynesse. The major river of Reynesse is the Sud which forms in the southern hills of Rivenmund and Cathringia, being fed along its way by the waters of the Broéliend Forest until he feeds into the River Frontôte.

These rivers provide ample opportunity for trade to pass up and down the rivers, meeting the great roads built in the reign of Marus II, the spiritual founder of Reynesse, allowing ships to sail into the city of Saullon where the expansion roads built by Arecius into Cathringia allow trade to reach as far Syagrium in the south and Genoréso in the north. These conditions allow Reynesse to exploit its natural position in the centre of the continent to build wealth and exert economic influence across the continent.

Reynesse is also perfectly positioned for farming, with flat fertile land in the hinterland of the nation, no other nation can outcompete them for the growth of grain, vineyards and pasture land. Additionally, the mountains in the north has formed a natural barrier from the elves, although their history of conflict pales in comparison of that of their rivallry with Cathringia, where the rolling hills in the south are dotted with towers manned by the Knights that have for centuries provided a natural line of defence against their oldest and fiercest enemy.
