ORON's influence, as the very highest body in the Nation, is complete and total. Nothing can overwrite it. Despite this, almost all of its powers of administration are delegated to VEON, and powers of legislation delegated to VGON, thus ultimately leaving it without many true duties. It bears several-thousand members, all of which reside almost-exclusively on Heimat, composed of the highest ranking members of the Nation.

While theoretically anybody of any position can become a member of ORON as it is technically an 'elected' position, in practice most are already heavily influential figures, with the very oldest being former Imperial Aristocracy who originally defected alongside the Great Revolutionary.

It is an unpaid and only part-time position, as members are expected to have other roles outside of ORON. Their meetings are rare and never argumentative- ORON votes as one, and it votes unanimously. It as an Organ of strength, unity, and alignment to the will of the Great Revolutionary.

Only rarely does it conduct policy and lawmaking on its own, as the scarcity of their meetings and sheer size of the body means any result that isn't 'unanimous' takes a very long amount of time, nevermind amendments.

No- such a duty is delegated downwards, to VGON. ORON will remain as a pillar, untouched by factionalism and disgrace.

The 'head' of ORON is the Great Revolutionary, her subordinate being the Daughter of the Revolution.

Given neither attend meetings, however, the current head of ORON instead bears the title of Chairman, and is responsible for ensuring meetings progress smoothly and to-plan, rather than having any great executive power.
