Castellum

Overview

Castellum, the Fortress City, commands the grasslands of eastern Tellus. Its many walls remain unbreached around the citadel of the Great Temple of Zetar. The scattered arms and armor and forgotten burial mounds of battles long past are a testament to the city's unyielding nature. The smithies and armories of Castellum echo night and day as each and every one of the city's people consider the city's defense their personal responsibility. A great many humans and cinderkin can be counted among the fortress's inhabitants.

Castellum takes its inspiration and influence from medieval castle society, Arthurian knights, late Roman military towns, and Gondor from The Lord of the Rings, with attire often incorporating practical garb, armor of various kinds, or crafting accoutrements.

Is this Enclave Fallen?

This Enclave is not fallen. Castellum's primary defense is the fortification itself and the heavily militarized populace. During the Cataclysm, many refugees sought the safety of the Fortress, and its economy is thriving almost more than it was during times of peace.
