Yube is the name of a small island just southwest of Cinohshima near the western edge of the Cometfall Sea. Its only notable feature other than its jagged coast full of shipwrecks was the laboratory-fortress built by Genso Naoko's Cult of Varkanus. This lab and the island was guarded by a juvenile kraken.

In 3E450, the kraken was slain by the crew of the Phoenix Nebula and the lab was destroyed.
