3E449/13/16 - As Yorkir and Soleil are leading the caravan carts eastward across the Kosmosi Mountains, they spot a short ranger with a wolf above on a cliff to the right, Pepe. They are suddenly ambushed by a group of goblins from the left cliff. The three make quick work of them, their leader goblin hiding when things got rough and surrendering afterward. After some questioning, he reveals that his boss is a Hobgoblin. Yorkir, introducing himself as Tim Burr, wants the goblin 'Dubs' to go free and change his life, but the others assure him that he would not. Tying up Dubs, the three lead him to the dwarven city of Vogh Vulfrhûn. Entering the first quadrant of the city and going through the markets, they enter the Lawhall and see a taller blonde human knight, Hanna Hirsch. They meet with the Lawkeeper, a female dwarf named Rynnis Frosteye, who argues a lot with Pepe about the goblins and life in general, the two having a history and throwing personal insults at each other. Due to Hearthlight, the city has less manpower, thus the four including Hirsch who volunteered would have to deal with the Hobgoblin and the tribe themselves. The Lawkeeper rewards them for saving the caravan and offers a first class suite, but they instead head down without Hirsch into the third quadrant and spend the night in a loud yet fun inn there.

3E449/13/17 - The next morning, they head up the elevator- Tim buying some cake for Hirsch as well, before meeting up with her at the gates along with a handcuffed Dubs. The party heads out into the cold mountains, talking about the suns and stars and exoplanets and science before Pepe spots a grizzly bear ahead. Sneaking around it with some distractions, Dubs eventually leads them to the frozen lake island hideout, threatened with being thrown into the mines otherwise. Tim turns into a rat and crosses the frozen lake, scouting out the goblin camp hidden in plain sight. Joining back, they start to cross the river, slipping a lot in the process. Dubs just runs ahead yelling for Zaldrok, but they shoot him down before he can reach the camp. Sneaking up to the camp, Pepe deduces that there can't be a lot of goblins left, and Soleil senses the thoughts of 16. Hersch mentions that an Orc Clan that her platoon bested a year ago mentioned a rival clan head named Zaldrok, who must be the Hobgoblin. Tim leads by calling lightning as an all out battle commences against the remaining goblins, during which Zaldrok himself comes forth and almost kills Soleil, Hersch, and Tim. However, everyone manages to take him down with stunning strikes, darkness, and a relentless assault, one of the goblins even stepping into Pepe's bear trap. After the entire tribe is down, they rest for only a moment before hearing an echoing roar... And an avalanche approaching. Tim wildshapes into a horse as everyone makes for it, but they can't outrun the avalanche. Getting buried and Soleil almost suffocating, they manage to climb out and see a cyclops on a mountainside in the distance, scanning the horizon and attracted by the noise. They break for it, with the Cyclops throwing a rock in their general direction. They keep running until sunfall, and set up camp once they're sure he's not following them. As everyone drifts to sleep on Hearthlight Eve, Tim asks Hersch to join him in Hearthlight and she accepts.

3E449/13/18 - Oleg is summoned to the Lawhall, where he sees Rynnis with a halfling named Floriano and a Lunar soldier out here to find him- Alexei. He says that he has a new life now, and refuses to join said war. Floriano brought to the Lawkeeper's attention that due to a recent earthquake, some passages in the mines were blocked off and new ones opened up, leading to monster incursions that ate a lot of the metal as well as some miners. With the miners refusing to go down, the forges are going to go cold for Hearthlight. As the original four enter, they are made aware of the situation as Yorkir and Oleg reunite. Hirsch opts to sit this one out, as the six accept the task. Heading down to the Bed Rock Inn for food and to talk, Yorkir chugged down some imported Deeprose Rum. Floriano and some dwarves later lead them down into the hot mines and eventually into the cave entrance. They all begin to carefully make their ways into the Underdark's Middledark, Soliel's sunlit skin and Yorkir's starry forms leading the way. Passing by dead bodies with rusted armor among bioluminescent mushrooms and other flora. At one point, they encounter a swarm of stirges, but move past. They see a migrating tribe of Myconids in the distance of one of the larger caverns, but do not bother them. As they start to ascend towards the Upperdark, they encounter a freezing room full of brown mold that they cross by Yorkir covering the ground with new plants. Pepe finally tracking down the entrance into the insect hive, they defeat the Rust Monsters and Young Kruthiks, Alexei's armor and greataxe rusting from the monsters' attack. In the heart of the hive, they come into a room full of skeletons, as well as Adult Kruthiks and the queen Hive Lord. Between the acid sprays and their heavy exoskeletons, it is a hard fought battle but they eventually persevere, the Lunarians getting the job done. As they collect some remaining loot from the corpses and rest up, they start to head up towards the surface, eventually escaping the caverns into a familiar snowy mountain top at sunset- into the middle of the Cyclopes camp. The two Cyclopes attack the party, but they manage to defeat them by the skin of their teeth. Yorkir turning into a horse, they all start to make their way back towards the city at a fast pace to make it in time for Hearthlight. Yorkir and Soliel figure out that Yorkir is her father, due to her jigsaw piece that used to belong to him. As late night approaches and Hearthlight Eve ends, the party says farewell and splits. Pepe is convinced by Doge to head to Oleg's house along with Alexei to spend one Hearthlight with a proper family, while the rest make their way into the city and meet Rynnis. She congratulates them on a job well done, after her momentary happiness of Pepe's potential death passes. Rynnis heads home as well to spend Hearthlight with her family.

449/13/19 - Hearthlight Day! After reaching home dead at night, Oleg introduces Alexei and Pepe to his wife, as his children pet Doge. They enjoy hearthlight, as Floriano simply heads home for his one day off to sleep. Yorkir, Soleil, and Hirsch enjoy good food at a now-nearly-empty Bed Rock Inn, before Yorkir takes Hirsch on a date to a larger empty restaurant. He asks for her hand in marriage, which she immediately refuses since she's only known him for a couple days. Regardless, he agrees that him and Soliel should head to Timeron along with Hirsch.
