Rtutiv is a small city within the Cinder Steppe nestled in the foothills of the Kosmosi Mountains on the southeastern shore of Lunaria. It has been under the control of House Merkuriyev for a millennia, and was a part of the Kingdom of Kalki-Rtutia with neighboring Kalkipol before being conquered by the Crimson Empire until its liberation.

The city is an industrial juggernaut, and is known for its deep mines into the mountains as well as its naval manufacturing industries. The city was nicknamed "Quicksilver" due to its many mercury mines.

The Fortress Conquestorius rises in the center of the city visible from miles away.
