Splitting off from the The Pantheon of Eights, Triadism is the second major religion in the world of Abmarah. Also known as the Lunar Triad, it is distinctly different from Aeterism in the sense that it only venerates three female deities: Arryestria, Aethys, and Aetaos.
Triadism split off from the original pantheon after the Omniborn Crisis. The rebellion against the gods did not entirely go away after the Cometfall and the disappearance of the Omniborn, with many Aethian priests accepting the changes brought on by the Omniborn Draxalites. They stopped the worship of the entire pantheon, and outlawed 'idol worship'. They follow only the 'Triad', which consists of the three godesses that they consider to be the only true ones, with the rest of the pantheon now considered to be lesser or false gods.
Arryestria is the goddess of fertility, balance, and mortals. As an ascended mortal, she represents the inherent will of mortalkind and is the great balancer between chaos and order. She is considered to be the moons and the stars, the true successor of Serenox.
Aethys represents both life and death, and therefore the chaos of magic. Considered to be the true ruler of the afterlife as well as the gardener of souls, triadists conduct funerary rites that involve cremation followed by scattering the ashes into the ocean.
Aetaos, also known more popularly as Jakuna, represents divine justice and the order of the cosmos. However, unlike in Jakunism, she is not considered to be the highest authority amidst the gods, and is instead an equal within the Triad.

The religion is split into two major branches and a progenitor third sect:
Golden Triadism. Also known as Goldenism, is the largest of the two. This is the state religion mandated by the Lunar Collective. They consider Arryestria to be their nation's founder and primary goddess under the 'light', and balance to be the most important ideal. They reject the worship of all other religions and false gods, with any such heretics either imprisoned or executed. The Bolt of House Zolotov, also known as the 'Patriarch', is considered to be the head of faith. There is no holy city of this religion, as the rejection of idol worship makes the triad everywhere at once. That being said, the Golden Church and the Lightwatch operate out of the Golden Cathedral of Sergorod.
Aethian Triadism. Also known as Aethism, is the smaller of the two, but the older religion. Before the advent of Golden Triadism, the religion was only practiced in the underwater Aethian Dominion. They consider Aethys to be the main goddess of the three equals, as for them life and death serve an important role in their philosophy. While they also reject the worship of false gods and other religions, they are more tolerant of heretics and do not consider them criminals. While Goldenism rejects all other gods equally, Aethism considers Varkys to be the most evil false deity of all. While there is no central head of faith, Aethis is the holy city of the religion.
Draxalism. Technically not a truly Triadist faith, but often referred to as the origins of the religion. It essentially became the state-mandated philosophy of the Temporal Empire during their rebellion against the gods. Named after their emperor, Khaz Draxal, this philosophy rejected all gods and instead revered only three forces: The Omniborn Law, the Omniborn Royalty, and the Omniborn Will. While this movement died out alongside the Omniborn in the cometfall, traces of its philosophy remained in many places across Abmarah. Law became attributed to Aetaos, Royalty became associated to Aethys, and Will became associated to Arryestria. Of course, Draxal would have hated this.
