Meiðrism, also known as Meiðru (ᛘᛂᛁᚦᚱᚢ) or Worldseed Aeterism, is a sect of Aeterism that is mostly followed in the northwestern parts of Abmarah including Skion, Teer, and northwestern Aurial. Incorporating many of the beliefs of the giants and the northerners, they primarily worship the 'world tree' of the cosmos, and venerate many of the extraplanar gods. Moðr serves as their primary goddess of war and practically the chieftess of the pantheon. The religion focuses heavily on ritual practice, with kings and jarls playing a central role in carrying out public acts of sacrifice. The head 'Hofgoði' of the High Kingdom of Jørdheim, also known as the 'Fylkir', is considered to be the head of faith, and serves in the new holy city of Jordtræd, a large settlement built within the branches of a gigantic ash tree known as the Jørðaskr (ᛁᚯᚱᚦᛆᛋᚴᚱ). The tree is a symbolic representation of the cosmic tree of realms made physical.
As an aeterian faith, Meiðrism follows the same pantheon of gods as the common Jakunist pantheon, albeit with different names and interpretations of most of the gods. Many of the gods within the pantheon of eights are not worshiped as much within meiðrist traditions, but are still recognized as gods. The pantheon as seen in Meiðrism is as follows, with the gods considered to be the most important marked with a ⬖:

Meiðrism split off from the other Aeterian faiths early in the Primordial Era as the religion of the Giants. This Proto-Meiðrism eventually developed into its modern form as the humanoid northern cultures adopted much of those beliefs. The religion was codified in its modern form at the end of the Realmshatter in the year 1E001, venerating Moðr as the new god of all realms.
