The Titan of Entropy and the Hells, Krros Zazael is the supreme ruler of the fiendish realms. An uncharacteristically cold, calculating, and serious deity, he serves as the order god of destruction. His fiends are almost always at a constant war with the celestial planes or the demonic Abyss. However, Krros himself usually takes a back seat to all the violence, happy and content in letting Varkanus and his monsters take the malevolent spotlight. He tends to favor a quiet and uneventful existence on one hand, and wanting to take over the realms and the pantheon on the other. He is the stereotypical ‘devil’ god of the setting, and is mythologized to be incredibly deceptive and seductive.
He was one of the first two angels to exist, and is thus a sibling to all the angels to follow as well as the titans created by Elder Mekalus. He is the only angel to be considered a titan, bringing him up to the same status as his siblings Jakuna, Sigmus, Deltus, Serenox, and Moros. Krros has three daughters. His oldest is the goddess Nosos born to a union between him and the now dead titaness, Serenox. Then, he was once entranced by the siren-goddess Aquescue, and had a daughter with her named Lilithys who is now the archdevil lady of Vaitarnus. Some myths claim that he and Theratis are married since they have a daughter together named Efika, but the true reality of divine relationships is hard to comprehend.
His ascension to godhood is steeped in murky and conflicting myths, although almost all of them conclude that he is the first devil. The generally accepted story involves him and his brother starting the Angel Rebellion which led into the Realmshatter His original angelic name was said to be Krros Zazael, alongside his brother Azriel Zazael.
The first angels, the Zazaels, sought to teach mortals arcane magic separate from divine magic. Most of the gods oppossed this, but none more than Dimensus, who wanted nothing more than pure divine power over mortals for the rest of time. This kickstarted an angel rebellion against the gods long before the modern day. Dimensus managed to kill one of the brothers, Azriel. The remaining brother, Krros, rose as the first Archdevil, and burnt the roots of the world tree. He pierced Dimensus' heart, and killed the titan.
Krros suffered a major defeat from Jakuna's celestial forces during the Realmshatter before the first era, and hasn't stepped out into the battlefield himself since- preferring instead to do business.
Most other devils follow Krros loyally, but he only finds occasional cults and dedicated followers among mortals. However, he's known to seduce many a paladin and cleric to his faith.
