Deltus or Dýr is the titan of earth and nature, and some say that all Elves were made in the Day Father's image. A gentle god when not angered, he has been known to wander the Feywild and the wilds of Abmarah for centuries. He does not seem to care about the problems of the cosmos, aloof from all wars and destruction that goes on around him. He famously did not even notice that the Omniborn Crisis was even happening until the death of his consort, Serenox.

He represents plants, animals, nature, and the earth itself. As such, he is one of the most worshiped gods, often seen as one of the 'Perfect Gods' with no negative associations. Whether that is true or not has been subject to debate, as he is still fey in nature. As the patron of the Feywild, is considered to be an archfey of the Seelie Court.

He was known to be the consort to Serenox, the primary goddess of the elves and his sister. Before the formation of the greater pantheon's mythos, the fey saw them as the Day Father and the Night Mother, the diurnal and nocturnal guardians belonging to the Seelie and Unseelie respectively. The sun has long been associated to him, with that only beginning to change in the third era due to Sol Sultana.

He was created by his parent, Elder Mekalus, alongside his siblings Jakuna, Sigmus, Serenox, Moros, as well as all Angels including Krros, Vertum, and Mutrev. Deltus and Serenox had a single child, Gunian, although the details are different depending on who you ask. Some whisper that Dradus, the cunning lizard god of luck, shares Serenox's lineage bearing her trickster nature and dominion over fate.

Deltus and Serenox have a key role in the creation story of the Shadowfell as well. When the witch Morgariel was trying to ascend as a dark goddess, the armies of the Seelie and some Unseelie intervened led by the two gods. With the gods commanding the battle, the witch's forces lost, and the spell was interrupted. With her powers, the lady Serenox cut off the half-corrupted half of the Feywild, and essentially created the Shadowfell. Lord Deltus bound Morghos in great divine chains, sealing the witch away within the heart of this new Plane of Shadow.

Nowadays he forms a fey duo with Nosos, with her disease and corruption always balancing out his output of greenery and life. The minor goddess Aklim is said to serve as Deltus' guard. Though he did not plant the world-tree, he is said to have gardened it for thousands of years.

One of the most popular gods, he is worshiped across the world by elves, fey, farmers, and pacifists alike.

Deltus is viewed in a negative light in Môrism due to his role in the banishment of the Drow and his opposition to his consort Serenox. While he is still worshiped by farmers and priests for his blessings, the widower Day Father is seen as one who has abandoned them.

The Vedavin attribute life and nature to Varkayan, and the Kav’orri people have little to say about greenery in their desert. This leads to 'Deldev' having a minor role in Ashtadharmic texts, rarely worshiped outside stories.
