The titaness of plagues, diseases, poisons, and corruption, Nosos is an archfey goddess that is worshiped across the realms out of fear. Governing everything from a bad harvest to pandemics, she is a chaotic force of nature that works against Deltus’ giving of life. She has influence across the Feywild as well as the Shadowfell as her domains. As a fey, she is known to be a trickster, and has her fun with any mortals that end up on her radar, especially Elves. Conversely, Nosos is also the patron goddess of doctors and alchemists as her good favors can help cure the very diseases she herself creates. This duality makes her morality incredibly hard to judge from a typical mortal perspective, indicative of her fey nature.

She is the daughter of the titans Serenox and Krros. Through her connection to Serenox, she is the half-sister of Gunian and might also be related to Dradus. Through her connection to Krros, she is the half-sister of Lilithys and Efeus. Nosos had a son with the angel-god Mutrev named Gammus.

More so than other malevolent deities, Noshmi has been known to get angered whenever mortals skip on her offerings and rituals, considering any slights against her to be disrespectful and worthy of punishment. Even deserts like the Kav’orra cannot escape her wrath, as she has been known to summon swarms of locusts and dry up oases.

Her dedicated worshipers see her as nature reclaiming civilization, and many of those cults seek to either create or heal diseases. The fall harvest festival also known as Noshmipuja in the middle of the eight month ‘Nosali’ pays respect to Nosos, in a hope that she favors the farmers and does not destroy crops sown over the next year. Cults of rot aside, almost all prayers to Nosos are prevention based in some form or another. Her rot and blight are one of the biggest fears of the Branchkeepers who want to protect the world-tree.
