Aesin the Revived is the Atakasi god of anarchy and conquest, and the brother of Atrius and Aklim. He is a fierce and ruthless warrior, with a strong desire for conquest and a love of battle. In life, he was a mighty warlord who led his armies to countless victories, but eventually met his end in battle against his sisters. However, his spirit refused to leave the mortal realm, and with the help of powerful necromantic magic, he was brought back to life as an undead warrior.
While his sisters represent the world and life, he represents death, glory, and war. Clans would pray to him to support them against each other, his existence fueled by strife and conflict. In the grand myth of the siblings, he unified all the clans into one, and was to wage a war against the entire world. However, his ambition was destroying the land that they called home, and caused endless suffering. After a bloody conflict between the siblings, the sisters struck him down, leaving him to rot. However, mortal ambition never ceases, and dark magic brought him back to life. Now, he is seen as a malevolent deity—the Revived. He was later associated with the third moon, Strari.
Despite his undead state, Aesin is as ferocious as ever, with a physical and mental toughness that far surpasses that of any living being. He is a god of power and domination, and his followers seek to conquer and dominate all those around them in his name.
Some myths believe that the goddess Aethys stole a part of Omegus' soul to create the three siblings, acting as a sort-of mother figure to them. However, Aethys is also said to have helped Aesin's sisters with his death.
Aesin's worship is not as widespread as that of his siblings, as many view him with fear and suspicion due to his association with undeath. Nevertheless, there are still those who see his power as a means to achieve their own goals, and they are drawn to his banner.
The dark cult that revived Aesin is a shadowy organization shrouded in secrecy and mystery. Its origins are unknown, but rumors suggest that it dates back to the earliest days of bilari civilization. The cult is dedicated to the worship of undeath and the conquest of all who oppose them, and they have ties to the dark city of al-Fahim. The cult's ultimate goal is the domination of their culture over the rest of the continent, with Aesin as their supreme ruler. However, they have not been able to garner many supporters or success, overshadowed by the vastly superior Solism or the worship of Omegus.
