Krakus is one of two Omniborn gods. He was originally the Temporal Empire’s prized god-killer during the Omniborn Crisis, killing many deities including the former god of death itself, Moros. However, the constant hate and bloodshed started to take a toll on his psyche, as the war was the only thing he’d ever known. He was radicalized and trained by Khaz Draxal from birth, and one day the conditioning finally broke. This sudden turn is mysterious and heavily speculated upon, as he turned to the side of the gods alongside his wife, Saenus. As such, he and a few more of his kind survived the disappearance of his species.

He was appointed as the god of execution and deicide as punishment, to continue doing what he grew to hate for the rest of time. He is the god who kills other renegade gods, champions, angels, and other divine beings. He serves this role as one of Jakuna's ‘Hands of Justice’, primarily as her executioner. Few people actively worship him alone, but he is mentioned in most of Jakuna’s hymns and prayers as the one who carries out justice.

When not killing, Krakus prefers a simple life, said to be a simple farmer somewhere in the skies beyond. This has led to many in Ashtadharma starting to consider him a harvest god, not just a deity of murder. He is not one for many words, and lets his actions speak for Jakuna’s will. Many other gods are afraid of being targeted by him, and he’s served as a living deterrence against breaking the divine laws. He is known to wield four Azbaan blades at once, a metal cursed to be able to kill deities.

Few people actively worship Krakus, and he is simply mentioned whenever people pray to Jakuna and her Hands of Justice. Executioners are looked down upon in society due to the nature of their work, and Krakus is one of their few patron gods. Some people also treat him as the patron god of the act of 'killing' in general, but in the perspective of carrying out justice and not murder. Many in Ashtadharma also associate him with harvests.

Biography

"This path, deicide... It is doomed, from the beginning. Whether you kill bad gods or good, likes of Varkanus or likes of Jakuna- It doesn't matter. You're dealing with... Higher magics. Your soul, it... Gets cursed. Forever. Curses... Matter." - Krakus, explaining his curse.

Krak was born in the early years of the Omniborn Crisis, and he was notable because he was born with a tail. Omniborn born with tails were extremely rare, and said to be destined for greatness. The child was taken under the wing of Khaz Draxal himself, who raised Krak to become an assassin of gods. He entrusted the young assassin with the greatest Omniborn weapon, the starweapon Faithbreaker.

He would go on to kill hundreds upon hundreds of minor gods, as well as quite a few major ones. His first and most notable major kill was when he led the invasion of Azydos and killed the then-God of the Afterlives, Moros. He is also credited with the death of Etermu, Jakuna's daughter. Many believe that Etermu's death is partly the reason for Jakuna forever punishing Krakus in her court.
