Mutrev Auriel the Realmkeeper is one of two Angel deities, and the sibling of Vertum. The Realmkeeper has many aspects, and while Jakunism sees them as a singular masculine aspect named Mutrev, Meiðrism reveres the Realmkeeper more than all other deities and sees the deity as two gods that share the same soul and a complex multi-faceted leader balancing cruelty with wisdom. Similar to the alchemical concept of rebis, the Realmkeeper in their beliefs is split into two aspects of the same body:

Moðr Hertýr: The female half of the Realmkeeper, representing the domains of War, Realms, Runes, and Knowledge. She is seen as the motherly chieftess of the pantheon and the "Angel of Strategy". She is known to rule from the heaven of Valriki where she and her valkyries gather the souls of slain warriors, the strongest of whom become celestials. Moðr receives many humanoid sacrifices in her name, mostly consisting of the vanquished foes of her faithful. Additionally, she is said to be the founder of an order of celestial assassins named Svartstálen or the Black Steel who operate across all realms. She is similar to the archetypal "White-Queen".

Máttr Sigtýr: The male half of the Realmkeeper, representing the domains of War, Realms, Strength, and Zeal. He is seen as the fatherly chief of the pantheon and the "Angel of Victory". He is known as the defender of the World-Tree and the leader of warriors. If Moðr is the strategizer, Máttr is the the battlefield tactician. His cruel, vindictive, and unpleasant nature is in direct opposition to his brother Verindr as he seems to enjoy playing games with mortals and causing suffering. His short temper is second only to Magnar, and is quick to rush to judgements and anger. Máttr was once a lover of the evil goddess Nárja and had children with her, in addition to a child with his lover Laufus. He is similar to the archetypal "Red-King".

Originally a chaotic creator god to balance their brother’s orderly creation, they sought higher power. Eventually said to have been lured by the personification of Order itself, they became the new deity of realms and planes. The position used to belong to the titan Jörd, who perished in the Angel Rebellion that led to a chaotic period when the realms intermingled called the Realmshatter, which the Realmkeeper ended via their ascension and by planting a new world tree of realms. The supreme power that they gained from this new role seemed to corrupt them immediately, as it did their predecessor. The Realmkeeper claimed an entire heavenly layer for their warhall, making the plane of Valriki their new home just underneath Jákdóma.

As an angel, they are a sibling to both their twin Vertum as well as all other angels including Krros. By extension, as a creation of Elder Mekalus, the angels are also all siblings to the titans Jakuna, Sigmus, Deltus, Serenox, and Moros. The Realmkeeper has two sons, the god Gammus through a union with Nosos, and the exiled god Xoeltus through a union with the giant-goddess Laufus.

The northern lands of Abmarah, especially in Skion, Teer, and northwestern Aurial, worship 'Moðr' as their chief god of war instead of Kappos. Additionally, they revere him as the caretaker of the world tree. This religion is now referred to as Meiðrism.
