Arryestria was once a mortal elf that was uplifted to godhood. Also known as Arrus, she now serves as the ‘balancer’ as well as a goddess of fertility. Instead of Elder Kosmus, she represents the balance gods, much like how Jakuna and Varkanus represent their alignments. She is the primary goddess of Golden Triadism.
Arryestria’s role as the balancer brings her in the middle of all divine business, striking a middle ground between good and evil. She holds the second most important position in the elven pantheon, just under Jakuna herself. She replaced Alphus as the balancer, a goddess whose death kick-started the Omniborn Crisis long ago.
As such, Arryestria's ascension is born out of need and duty. She shouldn't have needed to become a deity, and no mortal should have to follow in her wake. Bit by bit, piece by piece, she had to leave behind what made her mortal.
She is said to have two 'avatars' or 'descendants' in the mortal world since her ascension. The Lunar Revolutionary 'Crossbow', who led the houses in their war for independence and founded the Lunar Collective, and Silverin Strela, who leads the Collective today.
The Lunar Collective now believes her to be the creator of their nation and all of their ideals, even going as far as believing that their leader Silver Strela is descended from her. She is one of the few gods whose worship is allowed in the Collective, as she is the centerpoint of their faith called the Lunar Triad.
Despite Ashtadharma worshiping newer gods, Arryestria’s ascension was too recent even by ashtadharmic timeframes, leading to her having little presence in Eqos so far.
