Ashtaloha

Ashtaloha (अष्टलोहा), also known as Celestial Gold, is a sacred alloy of eight metals mixed in equal parts: Gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, tin, iron, and mercury. When forged by mortal smiths, it is a non-magical and soft metal used to create divine idols and implements, especially in the Kav'orra Desert. However, when forged by celestial smiths in the Nine Heavens or blessed by powerful clerics, Ashtaloha becomes a strong divine metal used to create weapons and armor. It is the thematic opposite of Infernal Iron.

Its composition was written down in the ashtadharmic text the Rakhapurana by the dragoness Yogi Ashaneras. While Celestial Gold is older than that, the secret to its mixture was given to mortal smiths by her text. In the Heavens, celestials have minted Celestial Gold Coins that are often used as currency.
