Last we left off…
What should have been a morning of quiet triumph turned into a waking nightmare. Navigating the treacherous political waters of a royal luncheon, the Rookery managed to secure the future of the realm, orchestrating a secret, midnight wedding between Prince Irund and Ruvya. With loyalists bearing witness, the Prince was solidified as King, giving him the power he needs to strike back at the conspirators. However, victory was violently cut short. Retiring for the night, the party was abruptly awakened by Bogra and Ghenze, who made a horrifying discovery: overnight, the Thres Protectorate Symposium and the Nachtshade Assembly infiltrated the royal chambers. Unaware that she is now officially the Queen, they abducted Ruvya, leaving behind a shoddy, lifeless replica in her place. The sun is rising, the real wedding is hours away, and the Queen is missing.
The Royal Ascension: The secret wedding was a success! Prince Irund is officially the King, and Ruvya is his Queen. This grants him the royal authority needed to move against his usurpers—if the Rookery can retrieve his wife.
The Everhund Conspiracy: Viola’s conversation with Dmitri revealed a dark agenda. He is vehemently anti-establishment and intends to overthrow the Matriarchy in Eterna, conspiring with Viola's estranged husband, Avamar, to do so.
The Architect of the Illusion: Cipher discovered the truth behind the flawlessly copied "Lady Inarivyss." She is a Morphic Simulacrum created by Aurick, who is nothing more than an egotistical scientist, who built her to serve as Dmitri's puppet House Matron.
A Coward's Retreat: Realizing the heat is turning up, Aurick has fled the city. He will not be attending the public wedding, leaving his future threat level unknown.
King Irund Thaslyn: No longer just a Prince in peril. He is an empowered King on the brink of war with his own senate.
Queen Ruvya: Captured by the Symposium and Nachtshade Assembly. Her captors mistakenly believe she is merely a bride-to-be, unaware of the political power she now holds.
Dmitri Everhund: Revealed to be a dangerous, misogynistic radical plotting against Eterna.
Aurick: The cold, calculating scientist behind the simulacrum technology. Currently at large.
