Last we left off…
The Rookery moved like ghosts through the shadows of Gelnara. In a flawless string of operations, you secured Ambassador Ysolde Fennrath-Vire from The Turning Leaf and executed two daring extractions from Assembly-controlled territory. Thanks to a perfectly timed distraction, Marshal Corvyn Thessaly-Haunt is free. Shortly after, Countess Miravel Undross was successfully extracted from the lower districts, restoring civic authority to the Flood-Gate Ward.
With three massive political assets secured at Obridiah's workshop, a tense debate determined your next move: utilizing the unpredictable Obridiah as a merchant contact to grant you legitimate cover to approach the Prince. You now have the rescued nobles, and more importantly, you have the forged amendment proving the Nachtshade Assembly's mandate is completely fabricated. The wedding is tomorrow. Something is winding up beneath the city. The clock is ticking.
Lore & Plot
The Forged Mandate: The legal amendment authorizing the Nachtshade Assembly in Gelnara is a complete forgery. No legitimate Protectorate authorization exists for their presence.
The Merchant's Gambit: The party has officially decided to use Obridiah's mercantile connections to bypass Assembly scrutiny and get an audience with the Prince.
The Bleeding Skies: Corynn experienced a terrifying oracle vision: two overlapping skies—one alive, one filled with dead stars.
NPCs Met/Changed
Ambassador Ysolde, Marshal Corvyn & Countess Miravel: All three are secure at the workshop and ready to lend their political weight and testimony to your audience with the Prince.
Cipher-Keeper Thessaly Wraunt: The party realized she was the first person taken by the Assembly because she would have immediately recognized the amendment was forged.
Obridiah: Acting as your reluctant intermediary. He is cooperating because he calculates that the realm's survival is in his best personal interest.
The Lost Anadi: Cipher discovered an entirely new, undocumented family of Anadi being held in Assembly-controlled territory. A personal, binding promise was made to return for them once the Prince has been briefed.
Loot & Resources
The Silver Bullet: You possess the forged amendment. Combined with the rescued nobles, you have all the pieces needed to expose the Assembly's coup.
