Pridelake lies on the southern shore of Concordia’s largest freshwater lake, where savannah meets sand. Lionfolk and other Therans build stilted homes and terraced platforms along the water.
By day, fisherfolk harvest the lake’s bounty, while markets bustle with traders from distant lands. By night, the lake itself seems alive—bioluminescent currents shimmer in intricate patterns. The waters are believed to enhance prophetic visions for those attuned to The Breath, and annual festivals see the city lit by floating lanterns that mirror the stars above, connecting Pridelake’s people to both lake and sky.
