The climate of Auresia is a pleasant one in pratically the whole country; with warm summers and the worst of winter contained towards the Tuntorva Mountains. The great river Tyius springs up from the mountains near Magortae and passes down through the western half of the nation where it is joined by the spring waters of Vernatorlis before it drifts down into the lagoon of Portigoa where it meets the Intemare Sea. Smaller rivers exist in the eastern half of the country, but the land is hilly and less densely populated, with forests covering much of the region.

In the furthest south of the nation sits it the Isle of Pyfino, a popular holiday resort for the wealthy nobles of Auresia, known for its crystal blue waters and lofty clouded mountains that provide a view as far south as the shores of Cathringia on a clear day. In the centre of the island sits a great volcano, but one which has been dormant for centuries, and instead provides a gentle slope on which farms slowly rise.

At the very centre, is the aforementioned Vernatorlis, which sits within the central mountain range. These mountains are known for their vast quantities of gems and gold which are extracted by miners bringing great wealth to the region.

Lastly, the peninsula in which Serdos sits pushes out into the Midal Sea, with the great tower of Serdos offering a view across the strait towards Tereona and the small beautiful islands that circle Serdos’s shores, known for their quantity of shellfish that sit in the shallows there.
