The Kingdom of Cathringia is a loosely organsied group of Kingdoms, with an elected Kasric (High-King) at its head. These kingdoms are composed of New Willawald in the east at Hessenberger, New Berengaria with the capital of Grenderstanz, New Adalharda of Vandericht and, Brunenberg of Reissebruck. Additionally, of equal standing is the Könvire (Grand Knight) of Soudschloss, ruler of Knights of Cathringia.
The capital and head of the nation is Kasricgard, with the Kaisric having his seat there. Although it was formerly at Vandericht, following the rebuilding of Weiterschal as Augergard, the Kasric settled here and it was to become the offical seat of power for the Kasric following the collaspe of the Empire of Poseia, with the city being renamed Kasricgard and the Brunite Könric taking his seat across the strait at Reissebruck, a gift from the Könric of New Willawald following the destruction of Weiterschal.
Beneath each of the Könric’s is a system of feudal vassels, with from Herzmeister (Duke), down to a Trendorf (Count), who rules over a Brond (Baron) and ultimately they rule over a Vire (Knight).
Within the major cities of Cathringia, councils formed of rich and influential guild members and the clergy dictact the internal policies of the cities, while these councils are insubordinate to their feudal overlords, due to the influence and wealth they control in the city they are often able to convince their overlords to allowing them to do as they wish within the walls of the city, as it is their wealth and trade which often pays for the mercenaries.
Additionally, the isle of Prenn/Prann is ruled by a Fürz (Prince) who while of supposedly equal voting rights in the elective monarch of Cathringia as the Könric’s is seen as a lesser noble in comparison.
