One of the most mysterious cities in the world, Isaap is the only permanent residence on Akurisu- the edge of the cometfall crater. The island has many superstitions surrounding it, the most prevalent one being that it is cursed with demons and aberrations. As such, most people try to avoid even the sight of it.

Issap started as the old Cinohan Emperor’s first and only colony into Achlys, which is widely rumored to have put a curse on him. When Cinoh abandoned Achlys, the city of Issap stuck around. The residents are often regarded with suspicion on the few times they trade with the outside world, and barely anything is known about them or the inner workings of the city.

After the curse of the Blood Sea was lifted at the end of our second campaign, the city was reclaimed as a colony by the Cinoh Shogunate.
