The Chimera was the player party during the Tale of the Sunless Dunes campaign. They were named after the chimera that they defeated at the very beginning of the campaign. The party's history is detailed on the campaign's page.

The party worked for the Kasaaqi Dynasty, as covert operatives that were paid by the Kasaaqi Sena. Viera was formerly of the Blackreyne Brotherhood, Zahn was formerly a Vortex of the Lunar Skion Labs, and the two siblings Caeles & Lucine were formerly a part of the Church of the Black Sun.

The Chimera had six primary characters:

• Zahn Zwei - M Bounty Hunter Modified Human Armorer Artificer / Fighter (Vijay) (Later Gunslinger Alt. Artificer)

• Caeles Strari - M Ex-Cultist Aasimar Conquest Paladin / Fiend Warlock (Pravin)

• Lucine Lunaa - F Ex-Cultist Fire Genasi Lunar Sorcerer / Undead Warlock (Devaanshu)

• Vasirr of Goldheim - M Acolyte Half-Bilari Hunter Ranger / Moon Druid (Samir)

• Milis Kloved - F Seamstress Brass Dragonborn Soulknife Rogue (Ruhani)

In addition, they had some extra characters with them for various durations:

• Rakash Zaaba IV - A male DMPC Noble Human Berserker Barbarian who was a member of the party for the duration Milis was away.

• Viridiano - M Artist Changeling Archfey Warlock, a guest character played by Devaanshu while Lucine was dead.

• Celeste - A female Moonstone Dragon wyrmling that the party rescued, protected, and eventually escorted to her home in the Feywild.
