Name: King Ameon Aurelius
Race: Human
Age at Death: 68
Ameon Aurelius was the founder of the Aurelius royal dynasty and the king who rose from noble leadership to unify Llithe after the collapse of Berathian rule. Born in the growing city of Reach during the later years of Berathian dominance, Ameon belonged to a respected but politically modest noble family whose influence came through trade and civic leadership rather than royal blood. While the courts of Bera were steeped in tradition, Reach was a city shaped by the discoveries of Mana and the intellectual awakening of the Era of Creation. Ameon was educated by scholars, engineers, and diplomats who believed Llithe was entering a new age of possibility. From them he learned that power did not only belong to those born into crowns, but to those capable of guiding change without letting it destroy the realm.
As tensions between the Berathian crown and the progressive houses escalated during the policies of Malek Berathian, Ameon emerged as a central voice among those advocating for reform. Unlike the more radical factions in Reach, Ameon initially worked to prevent open conflict, proposing compromises that would preserve the unity of Llithe while allowing arcane discovery and innovation to flourish. However, as royal decrees tightened control over Mana institutions and economic pressure mounted, compromise became impossible. When war erupted during the conflict later called Kingdom Come, Ameon accepted command of the coalition opposing Berathian authority. His leadership was marked by strategic patience rather than reckless conquest, coordinating multiple noble houses and maintaining supply networks that slowly eroded the Berathian war effort over the course of the six year conflict.
When the war ended and the Berathian dynasty collapsed, the victorious houses faced the dangerous possibility of fragmentation. Rather than divide the realm into competing territories, they turned to Ameon as the only leader trusted by all factions to restore order. He was crowned king and established the new royal seat in Reach, transforming the once ambitious city into the capital of Llithe. Ameon spent the remainder of his reign rebuilding a fractured kingdom, repairing trade routes, restoring devastated regions, and restructuring the balance of power among the noble houses so that no single faction could again destabilize the realm. Though his coronation marked the end of centuries of Berathian rule, many historians credit Ameon Aurelius with preventing Llithe from descending into permanent chaos. Under his steady leadership the foundation was laid for the era that would later be remembered as the Era of Harmony.
