Name: The High Priestess
Race: Human
Age: 36

The woman now known only as The High Priestess was not born into prestige or prophecy. She began life as the daughter of a traveling archivist who catalogued old shrines and forgotten temples across Llithe. From a young age she accompanied her father through remote villages, river sanctuaries, and ancient dragon-carved ruins dedicated to the Faith of Nine. Those journeys shaped her understanding of faith long before she ever stepped within the High Citadel. Where many scholars studied doctrine through books alone, she witnessed how belief lived among ordinary people. She saw fishermen pray to Otares before storms, farmers whisper thanks to the High Matron during harvest, and blacksmiths mark their anvils with the hammer of Dederus before the first strike. By the time she arrived at the Citadel as a young initiate, she already carried a perspective that faith was not merely scripture. It was the living rhythm of Llithe itself.

Within the High Citadel she quickly distinguished herself as a prodigious theologian and mediator. Rather than specializing in a single Primordial path, she studied the relationships between them, believing the Faith of Nine existed as a balance rather than nine separate doctrines. This philosophy earned admiration among younger scholars but skepticism from traditional clerics who preferred rigid interpretations of their chosen Primordial. Despite this resistance, her calm reasoning and remarkable ability to resolve disputes elevated her rapidly within the Clerics Concord. When the aging High Priest fell ill during the early years of the Era of Harmony, she served as his closest advisor and confidant. In his final months he entrusted her with the responsibility of maintaining unity within the Concord during a time when the realm itself faced growing uncertainty.

Upon his death the Concord made a controversial decision. Instead of electing a new High Priest from among the elder clerics, they elevated her to the position of spiritual leader. As part of the sacred tradition marking the office, her birth name was stripped away and sealed within the Citadel’s archives, leaving only the title The High Priestess. The act symbolized that the individual had surrendered personal identity to serve the faith and the people of Llithe. Now one of the youngest figures ever to hold the position, she guides the Clerics Concord during a time of mounting tension. The appearance of the Tower of Soddom and the gradual decline of Mana have shaken the spiritual certainty of the realm. While many clerics argue over whether these events represent divine judgment or cosmic imbalance, the High Priestess approaches the mystery differently. She believes the Faith of Nine must not only interpret the world’s changes but prepare the people of Llithe to endure them.
