Name: Ser Tarron Halvar
Race: Human
Age: 41

Ser Tarron Halvar is the current Guild Leader of the Knightfarers, a roaming fellowship of hedge knights who travel the roads of Llithe in pursuit of their personal oaths. Tarron was born in the frontier settlement of Lancing where caravans, farmers, and travelers frequently passed between the heartlands of Bera and the rising authority of Reach. His father served as a blacksmith repairing wagon axles and horseshoes for passing riders, and Tarron grew up hearing the stories of knights who rode through town. As a boy he believed knighthood represented honor and protection for the common people. When he eventually entered the service of a minor noble household as a squire, he trained hard and earned his spurs with distinction. Yet the more time he spent in noble service, the more he realized that many knights were bound not to justice, but to politics and obligation.

Disillusioned with serving the interests of a single house, Tarron left his lord’s banner and chose the uncertain life of a hedge knight, riding the open roads and offering his blade wherever it was needed. During these travels he encountered others who had made similar choices: warriors who believed the purpose of a knight was to serve people rather than banners. Some had lost their lords, others had walked away from noble service entirely. Tarron’s calm leadership and unwavering sense of fairness gradually brought these wandering knights together. What began as a loose gathering of riders sharing campfires and contracts eventually became known as the Knightfarers, a brotherhood of independent knights who traveled the land answering calls for help wherever they arose.

Now recognized as the leader of the Knightfarers, Ser Tarron Halvar continues to live the same wandering life that defined the order from its beginning. The Knightfarers maintain no castle and pledge loyalty to no throne, though they hold respect for the crown and the peace it maintains. Instead, they follow their own vows, aiding travelers, defending villages, and confronting threats that lie beyond the reach of formal armies. Tarron believes that a knight’s honor is not proven through titles or banners but through action on the road. Under his leadership the Knightfarers remain few in number but widely respected. When word spreads that the Knightfarers have arrived, people know that somewhere nearby rides a knight whose oath belongs to the land of Llithe itself.
