Name: Legion Legate Tiberion Valcrest
Race: Goliath
Age: 49

Tiberion Valcrest is the current Legion Legate of the Marauders Scouting Legion, the highest field commander responsible for directing all expeditions into the Tower of Soddom. Born in the frontier settlement of Ironwall long before it became the Legion’s fortified base, Tiberion grew up along the rugged coastlines facing the Wisp. His childhood was shaped by the harsh realities of frontier life where fishermen, watchmen, and soldiers shared equal responsibility for defending the coast from raiders and sea-born threats. From an early age he developed a reputation for endurance and calm thinking in dangerous situations. When he enlisted in the King’s Army as a young man, his natural ability to navigate difficult terrain and adapt to unpredictable environments quickly set him apart from conventional soldiers trained for open battlefield combat.

During his military career Tiberion served as a reconnaissance officer in several remote operations across Llithe, leading scouting units through forests, mountains, and marshlands where traditional formations struggled to operate. His ability to lead small teams through hostile environments earned him the nickname “The Pathfinder of Ironwall.” When the Tower of Soddom appeared in the ninth year of the Era of Harmony, the crown recognized that conventional military strategy would not be enough to investigate the phenomenon. A specialized expeditionary force was formed, eventually becoming the Marauders Scouting Legion. Tiberion was among the first officers selected for the mission, chosen not for political influence but for his proven ability to lead soldiers into the unknown and return with answers.

After nearly a decade of brutal expeditions into the Tower, where countless soldiers and scholars have fallen to the strange horrors within its shifting floors, Tiberion Valcrest now commands the entire Legion as its Legate. From the fortress of Ironwall he oversees the preparation, deployment, and recovery of the fireteams that continue climbing the tower. Under his leadership the Legion has adopted a philosophy of calculated exploration rather than reckless assault, studying each floor carefully before advancing further. Though he rarely speaks publicly about the deeper levels already discovered, those who serve beneath him know the weight he carries. Every ascent into the Tower claims lives, yet every retreat leaves the mystery unsolved. For Tiberion Valcrest the duty is clear: the Tower will not stop changing, and someone must keep climbing until Llithe finally understands what it has unleashed.
