The organizer of curriculums, the banner of books, and the provider of roles; whether by design or through its own politicking, AEON's mandate is broad and its powers varied.
Though its authority is often delegated to other, more specific Organs, the overarching power remains.
Being the ultimate overseer of employment, culture, and the education system, ÆON is capable of and expected to plan for the long term sociological stability of the Nation, as well as enact the plans and orders provided to them by Organs above.
Bearing millions of members in total, most who identify themselves as 'members of ÆON' would not find this a particularly odd or unseemly thing; school superintendents, business health inspectors, and more could all technically call themselves this, though they would likely be subordinate to a smaller body than ÆON proper.
Its highest members are ideal candidates for membership in other Organs of the Nation, given their knowledge and talents, and are often found within the likes of ORON and VGON.
The head of ÆON is referred to as the Generalleutnant, though they are not a member of the Volksmilitar, nor do they hold authority over it.
