Dr. Rho is a Warforged character that was a senior member of the Blackreyne Brotherhood. For most of his time there, he had been a member of the Brighthunt. He is the brother of Viktor.
Arya played him in the one-shot The White Ravens.
Dr. Rho was forged not as a soldier but as a medic to treat the wounded during the The Great Aurian War. They followed protocols precisely, prioritizing treatment efficiency over emotion.
It was all algorithms: sanitize wounds, seal hemorrhages, repair structural damage, diagnose battle fatigue—and repeat, as soldiers fell by the hundreds. One day, while scavenging an abandoned outpost for supplies, Rho stumbled upon a small, ragged book. Inside was a collection of human jokes, a patchwork anthology of puns, absurdities, and shaggy dog stories.
For the first time, something glitched in Rho's logic circuits: humor made no sense but was fascinating. Why laugh when death stalked every moment? Why string words into nonsense when survival mattered most? It was this breakthrough that "broke" much of their programming and awakened their individuality. They realized life had to be more than utility and suffering—it had to have moments of joy, no matter how fleeting. Following this, they were left for dead. Rescued by a hunter of the Blackreyne Brotherhood and brought to Night's End, they were repaired and deprogrammed fully. Taking on the name 'Rho', he chose to join the Brotherhood. Around the same time, another warforged was similarly repaired and freed by the Brotherhood, by the name of Viktor.
Though the war raged on, Rho began blending medicine and martial prowess to protect life and, in quieter moments, collect new jokes to share. They carried the joke book everywhere, repairing it carefully between battles, with the humor as their only solace and source of meaning.

In 3E224, he was brought into a secret meeting in Night's End with a few others including Viktor where Archhunter Daerron Blackreyne revealed that Rho was to become a founding member of the Brighthunt, a sect that would do unofficial and unseemly missions that the greater organisation cannot be seen doing.
They were sent to retrieve a light artifact from ruins under Ruskerton for Saint Kol-Han. His warforged nature made him especially suspicious to the Crimson guards there, and his teammate Sirakos had to charm their way in. While Rho thought that the citizens were curious about them, Viktor thought that they were afraid. Later in the ruins under Ruskerton, they met androsphinx Zondras who asked Dr. Rho and Viktor what the meaning of life was to the newborn machines. Rho aimed to gather wisdom and find it out for himself through a journey, while Viktor simply said that the meaning of life to him is to make his own decisions and come out on top no matter what. The party recovered Ballista Aries and helped Daerron reawaken her, hoping that this would end the war sooner.
Rho remained a Blackreyne and Brighthunt member for a few more decades, until 3E246 when he decided to leave the brotherhood for good. He chose to travel Abmarah in search of wisdom, and said farewell to his brothers including Viktor.
