Voriak 'Wolfheart' Vunakakanu is a Goliath that is a member of the Blackreyne Brotherhood. For most of her time there, she had been a member of the Brighthunt, as she is also a werewolf in control of her abilities.
Aaron played her in the one-shot The Dissonant Dirge.
Biography
Voriak was born in a goliath clan somewhere in the Kosmosi Mountains. However, she was infected with lycanthrophy, something that led her into murdering members of her own clan. She escaped into solitude, and slowly took control over the beast within her. She believed that she was cursed, and wanted to end all other cursed monsters so no one else would share her fate.
The Dissonant Dirge
Check the main one-shot page for the detailed plot summary.
In 3E451, Voriak traveled to the city of Tromden to answer a call for hunters. Along the way, she met the Blackreyne hunter Ethera, who tried to convince her to join the Blackreynes. At Tromden, alongside a group of other hunters she managed to save the city from both an aberration as well as High Priestess Altia Blitzgott. Ethera then recruited Voriak and Fieldor as Blackreyne hunters, taking them back to Night's End.
Brighthunt
Within the Brotherhood, as a monster herself, Voriak was inducted into the Brighthunt by Viktor. She did the dirty work of the brotherhood without remorse. In 3E470, when Archhuntress Viera Blackreyne called for a vote to dissolve the Brighthunt, Voriak was one of the people who voted against her despite being there for her during her childhood. She ended up voting against Fieldor, her friend. Decades later in 3E498, when Viktor tried to take over as Archhunter during Viera's absense, she supported him alongisde others. When the Darklight Crusaders led by Mash tried to reach Viktor, she stood in their way but was attacked and stalled by her former colleage, the dhampir Silas Darkgraves. After Viktor's defeat, she stood down her arms.
