A minor trading and fishing town in the Lunar Sea, Île de Cratère serves as a pit-stop on the major sea lane. Bright, colorful, and cheery on the coast, the city is built around an ancient impact crater-lake and the swamps that surround it.

The swampy city sees occasional visits from researchers and monster hunters due to an old urban myth about a sea serpent living within the crater-lake. This serpent was defeated in 3E452 by the crews of the Phoenix Nebula and the The Icicle Reaver during the events of Curse of the Blood Sea.
