The twin cities of Taiyo-chi (太陽地) & Tsuki-chi (月地) are the cultural hub of Cinoh, and the most well-known Cinohan destination across the world. The two cities are the richest in the nation despite not being the capital, and house many criminal Yakuza aspects as well.
Tsuki, the moon city, is on the mainland of Cinohshima. It is constructed primarily with marble, gray stone and blues- leading to a shining city in the moonlight. An industrial city, it builds and houses the Cinohan Navy.
Many of the upper class of Cinoh reside across the channel in Taiyo, the sun city, on the small Taiyoshima Island. Constructed with gold and brass over the hills and mountains of the island, the city shines brightly in the daylight and is a wonder to behold. There are ferries between the cities throughout the day.
Areas of Taiyo include:
Nikkō. The upper class district, with residences, mansions and compounds of various noble families.
The Akumakai Compound, which is a small fortified compound owned and operated by the Daimaō family.
Sunridge. An upper-middle-class district, it looks and feels similar to Suiseicho in Portci with bigger houses that are packed together.
West District. The home of the Shogunate in the twin cities, based on top of one of the mountains of the island.
Sunset District. A commercial district based around the western base of the mountain- Named for the fact that this district generally only gets light around sunset.
The Homemade Arcana, which is a magic shop owned by the Kajiwara halfling family.
Old Town. The lower-middle class district, and the tourism hub of the city.
The Golden Hammer Inn, which is a cheaper inn owned by an eastern dragonborn family.
Harbour Ward. Taiyo's Harbour district which sees constant ferries to-and-fro from Tsuki, as well as merchant and noble vessels.
Areas of Tsuki include:
Moonlit City. The lower class residential district, with some upper class housings mixed in.
Akumacho (Riverbank & Catsong). Farming community funded and operated by the Akumakai Clan, based around the river that delivers fresh water to Tsuki.
Dairy Lodge. An independent dairy business on the outskirts of the city, not linked to the Akumakai.
Lostdocks. The primary docks and marketplace of the walled city.
Moon Docks. The industrial docks of the city and Cinoh as a whole, where new ships are constructed along with shipping warehouses.
New Docks. Farming export docks, but a lot of shady stuff goes on as well as these were made outside the walls of the city.
