Prince Kagegojuu 'Yuji' Miyoshi was the heir-apparent of the Cinoh Shogunate. He was the son of Shōgun Kagegojuu Iwale. After his father's assassination, he helped the Phoenix Nebula during the events of Curse of the Blood Sea but was killed by Daimaō Damien who was colluding with his older sister, Kagegojuu Aite.
A brash, loud, and hot-headed man, he did not make a good impression on anyone. That being said, he had a good heart and tried to do what was right. He had a militaristic and industrial vision for Cinoh's future, something that his sister actually did implement even after his death.
While he was in active military service age 17 onwards, he was paired up with a young noble squire named Sakurajima Satsuki, who he was rumored to have had a relationship with.
Biography
Early Life
Miyoshi had a good relationship with his elder sister, but he always thoguht of himself as better than everyone around him. He grew up hotheaded and brash, but had enough martial skill to back up his words. He joined the military at age 17, and soon he was paired up with a young noble squire Sakurajima Satsuki. He was rumored to be in a relationship with Satsuki, something that both of them kept secret even after Miyoshi's death.
He always assumed he would inherit Cinoh, and was trained in the art of diplomacy and statecraft from a young age.

In 3E450, the the crew of the Phoenix Nebula visited Port Cinoh and met his father. While they worked for him, they barely interacted with Miyoshi but did see him.
Two years later in 3E452, his sister Aite hatched a plan with her now-lover Damien to depose her father and put Damien and herself in charge of the country owing to his popularity. They successfully got his father Iwale assassinated, leading to Aite becoming acting-shōgun while Miyoshi was still a minor. She let the appearance of Miyoshi leading the country continue, something that fooled even him.
When the crew of the Nebula returned to Cinoh and tried to investigate Damien, Miyoshi joined them in their travels to Taiyo & Tsuki. While he had a rough relationship with them at the start, especially Sif, he grew on them over time. However, while trying to investigate Damien's tower, he was captured alongisde Elise and Sif. After that, he was executed in cold blood by Damien, something that his sister Aite never intended but didn't care much about in the end.
After Damien and his sister's defeat, the Nebula and the other powerful people present like Monk Kazeshi forced Aite to agree to a democratic council stripping her of many of her powers, essentially turning the country into a democratic monarchy.
A few years later in 3E455 during the events of The Hag of Mount Yukiba, Monk Kazeshi and the kami Kinuye-no-Yukiba hatched a plan to have brave adventurers defeat Aite's teacher Baba Setani before she could ascend and became an okami. They believed that she still held a lot of sway over Aite, and wanted to sacrifice Aite to ascend to godhood. His old squire, Satsuki, joined this team. They successfully defeated Baba Setani even after she possessed the rotting corpse of Damien, finally ending her evil for good and avenging Miyoshi at the same time.
Timeline
3E433 - Aite is born in Port Cinoh.
3E450 - He joins the military and is paired up with Sakurajima Satsuki.
3E452 - At age 22, Aite colludes in a plan to assasinate both Iwale and Miyoshi, and he was killed by Damien Daimao during Act 2 of Curse of the Blood Sea.
