For the first time in history, the armies of Lothen faced the fabled wizards of Rose, long regarded as the most powerful arcane force in all of Vitallia. Their spells had repelled every invader for centuries—until Norionor.

Guided by secret intelligence of a rare celestial phenomenon—a brief, total negation of magic granted by The Sentinel—Norionor meticulously timed his assault. When the moment came, every enchantment across the battlefield faltered and died. The wizards of Rose, suddenly stripped of their greatest weapon, stood defenseless before the onslaught of Lothen’s legions.

The battle was fierce but one-sided. Rose’s armies were shattered, and for the first time in recorded history, Queen Meriel Roserise was forced to kneel and submit her realm to Norionor’s banner.
