This one-shot was played in May 2023. It was a small one-player one-shot meant to introduce Suneha to D&D and involved her character coming across the border from Lunaria to the town of Berxley and getting involved in a small mystery that culminated in a fight against a Bearded Devil.
The player character was:
Sofka - F Owlin Inquisitive Rogue (Suneha)
In addition, she was joined by NPC Isabelle of Faypass, a knight of the Crimson Empire.
Sofka had been traveling from caravan to caravan and had left her old job as a Lunar spy behind. Finally in Crimson territory, her caravan stopped at the small town of Berxley. While some of the locals and her own caravan-mates were suspicious of her, she saw knight Isabelle of Faypass trying to deal with a dwarf smith named Arlene Froststone who wasn't understanding her. Mediating against her better judgement, she got wrapped up in a robbery mystery as apparently a hooded man stole just one red jewel from her shop and nothing else of value.
After getting some information from locals, they heard that the thief ran into the woods. There, they ran into a pack of wolves and quickly dealt with them. Resting up, Isabelle and Sofka talked to each other a bit. The next day, they found the thief-cultist at an old shrine performing an arcane ritual. He summoned a Bearded Devil, and the two ended up fighting the Cultist and the Devil together. After a hard fight, the two took them down and headed back to Berxley. There, they bid farewell to each other.
