3E451/12/06 - Volrath Steelefist disappears into the tundra north of Glisspass, looking for a frost giant village as the winter sets in.

3E452/02/12 - Summoned via the Department of Dungeons adventuring guild, five adventurers meetup in a currently empty inn in Whither. Persephone and Haru enter to see Yirnhir with Gnortsmir on one table, and Wisp on another. Soon enough, Mayor Braal enters with Velech. After haggling out the price with Yirnhir, he sets them off on their journey to find Volrath now that the snows have thawed a bit, hyping up Velech. Gnortsmir elects to hold down the fort, letting Yirnhir go off alone. North of Whither, the road runs over a river with a broken bridge. After dealing with an ambush of young remorhazes, Wisp jumps across the bridge, Velech fails in doing so, Yirnhir just goes through it, and Persephone wildshapes into a draft horse to jump carry Haru over. Spending the better part of the day getting to Glisspass by sunset, they haggle out the price with a local innkeeper and get five rooms for themselves overnight, Persephone cooking up her brews.

3E452/02/13 - They head off north, crossing two perilous wooden rope bridges across river waterfalls, Haru's leg going through a plank in the second bridge but rescued by Persephone. After making their way across, they run into a wounded Frost Giant, who is apprehensive about their approach at first, raising his weapon. Wisp heals him though, and between Yirnhir talking in giant, he calms down and introduces himself as Thornos. When asked, he explains that Steelefist came to his village a season ago, and went to deal with Haska- an exiled warrior who got corrupted and given strength by the elf god, Nosos. Upon Haru's asking, he reveals that he was out hunting and got mauled by a couple of mammoths, and seems ashamed of it. He leads them through the tundra stretch, just as a blizzard descends upon them. Tying a rope between all of them, Thornos leads the charge into the blizzard, until Velech spots a light. They are surrounded by Coldlight Walkers, but manage to hold them off despite the rope and the blizzard. Making their way through the blizzard into clear weather, they make it to Thornos' village. The other frost giants there make snide remarks against Thornos' weakness against mammoths, but explain that Haska might have Volrath under her spell, and that they went into an ancestral frost giant tomb nearby. After resting a bit, Thornos leads them to the rock bridge across to the tomb, but can go no further as it is sacred ground. They all thank him and see him off in a goodbye, before going into the tomb. Finding a potion of frost giant strength, a ring of cold resistance, and fighting off a lot of draugr including an overlord... They make their way to the inner sanctum, where they see Haska trying to open the central Jarl's tomb, and a shadowy Volrath next to her. Haru leads the charge by wounding her greatly, but gets fucked by her rage-induced greataxe attacks almost immediately. However, everyone jumps into action, and between Yirnhir summoning a demon Tanarukk along the way that goes rogue and Velech going invisible to crit, they all manage to take down Haska and promptly Volrath. There is a bright flash of Jakuna's light overtaking Nosos' corruption, restoring their energy. Volrath thanks them each and reunites with Velech. As they are leaving, there is a small earthquake and the rock bridge collapses behind them, and a shadow of wings flies over them. Yirnhir feels pain in her heart, as Krahloraan the Dragon of the North Wind lands in front of them, seeking vengeance against Volrath and Velech. Dealing with his cold breath, the six fight him off well until he takes to the air. As he makes a sweep across with his cold breath, it looks dicey. On his next go around, Yirnhir teleports on top of him, as Krahloraan digs into Velech and takes him down momentarily before Persephone restores him back up. Yirnhir, Wisp, and Haru flank the adult dragon, as Velech and Volrath finish the job, slaying Krahloraan. Going against his patron and winning, Yirnhir is freed from her service. The six make their way down back to the village, where the giants bow and thank them for their strength.

3E452/02/14 - Making their way back to Whither, there is a celebration to see Volrath back, as Braal rewards them with the promised coin- Velech stealing some more regardless. Wisp, Velech, and Persephone go on their own separate ways to adventure, as Volrath and Yirnhir are free to do what they want- Yirnhir heading back to her crew. Haru, done here, heads back to Cinoh.
