1E852 - The group meets in the Temple of Attenos on Alsorion, where they are briefed by Aethys herself on strange foul-play of life and death in the Kav'orra desert. She suspects Varkanus, and sends them to solve this or prove his involvement. Teleporting them to the middle of the desert near the coast, the group travels westward sticking to the shore. In a desert swamp, they are attacked by a group of undead that they manage to fend off, eventually reaching some forgotten ruins in the sand. They manage to solve the 'Only Gods May Pass' puzzle, with Vitis calling down a divine intervention from Deltus which turns the elevator and the ruins around it into an oasis. They head down the long elevator, to the underground caverns that house City Vetalo.
