"Slavery is their natural state."
Ashlord Shri Kunala Qrozk was the 'Ashlord' of the Ashpits, a secret fighting ring underneath the city of Casthys. He was also a notorious pirate engaged in the slave trade as the former Pirate Lord of Wrath.
However, early in 3E452 he was betrayed by one of his underlings, Anila Khai, who killed him and took over his titles.
Little is known about Shri Kunala's early life, but he eventually rose to become an infamous pirate. He took over the Ashpits of Casthys, took part in the slave trade, and was a founding member of the Lunar Pirate Federation.
In 3E452, the crew of the Phoenix Nebula destroyed one of the slave ring operations of Shri Kunala in the Cove of Cries. However, they weren't aware that Shri Kunala was already killed by his underling, Anila Khai, who took over all his titles and operations.
Many say that Anila Khai killed Shri Kunala much in the same way as Kunala had once killed his predecessor.
"Kunala was weak, so I put him away."
