Ethesko is a recurring NPC that was a minor antagonist during Dragon of Icespire Peak and a supporting character during Curse of the Blood Sea. He is the younger brother of Moesko.
A veteran pirate, he is the first mate of a ship called the The Icicle Reaver under his lifelong friend Zeena Wintermoon.
Ethesko separated from his brother Moesko many years ago due to theological differences, as his brother worshiped Varkanus.
In 448, he was a member of the Stone-Cold Reavers, a mercenary company that operated in Førland. Alongisde him he had Zeena Wintermoon, Brakkis Elspaar, and Runa Vokdottir. They tried to steal the treasure of Icespire Hold, but were then hired by the dragon Cryovain to guard the hold.
After their defeat at the hands of the Phanden Four and the loss of Brakkis and Runa, he and Zeena went back to sailing the high seas aboard the The Icicle Reaver.
Back to being a pirate, they got new notable cremembers such as Harrus Silverhorn and Cydney Gullis. While docked at Île de Cratère in 3E452, they came across the crew of the Phoenix Nebula. After defeating a sea serpent with them during which Ethesko saved everyone when all was nearly lost, they parted ways but not before Cydney chose to join the Nebula over the Reaver.
