Surya Naur Glawar, also known as Grahyolkrien, was the leader of the Church of the Black Sun from its inception all the way up to 3E468. He was the secondary antagonist of Tale of the Sunless Dunes and was killed at the end of its projected storyline.
He was a red dragon greatwyrm, in love with his goddess Sol Sultana who he once served as a mount during her reign.
The figurehead and primary leader of the church and Solism as a whole, Naur Glawar appeared as a wise, elderly human man. The true mastermind behind the entire solist movement, he communed with his loyal mistress and goddess Sol on a regular basis as her warlock. It was rare for a red dragon to be this loyal to someone else, and some higher up members of the church believed that Glawar was truly in love with his goddess. A harsh and abusive man to the children who grow up in his care, he unfortunately became one of the trusted advisors of the Mahataraja.
Grahyolkrien as a young red dragon was brought into service of the god-empress Sol Sultana during her reign in the first era. After her death, he shapeshifted into a more Sand-Elf form and founded the Church of the Black Sun.
In the 21st century, he adopted Lucine Lunaa and Caeles Strari and was like a (terrible) father to them. They would turn against him during the events of Tale of the Sunless Dunes in 3E467, and in 3E468 he located them to the town of Forevermore which he razed to the ground.
He was killed at Kazarin at the end of the projected storyline for the campaign as its final boss.
