Anton Liiyevich Zolotov, the Architect of the Void, better known as Ballista Aquarius or simply Dr. A, was a Lightwatcher in the First Era as well as one of the Ballista of Lunaria. He was assigned to House Zhalizoskyy and rose to become one of the administrators of Skion Labs. Though he was originally a Faiiali, he chose to change his species to Human in the third era to better fit in.
He became one of Kol-Han's initial disciples and joined the Lightwatchers, but was defeated and sealed away until his reawakening in the Third Era when he became a Ballista. However, he became far more devoted to science and Skion Labs than to the pure light, and in the end chose not to die for the church's cause during The Light of Lunaria.
Biography
Golden Age
He would find meaning in the Pure Light, and became one of Kol-Han's initial disciples. He named him (Ballista) Aquarius, and he joined the Lightwatchers. He was eventually defeated and sealed away.
Reawakened
Aquarius was reawakened during the Lunar Revolution and would resume her duties as one of Kol-Han's right hands in this new age of Golden Triadism. Because the Faiiali had all but disappeared from Abmarah, he used a spell to change his species to Human. He was assigned to advise House Zhalizoskyy, and helped them create the new Skion Labs where he became one of the administrators. It is believed that he is one of the architects behind the Vortex program, though not the real administrator of it.
Later in 3E498, he oversaw the Darklight Crusaders at Skion Labs in Gematirsk as they tried to steal letters and information from his office. While he played along at first, he caught them in one of his secret generator rooms and attacked them alongside Vortex Viktoria Vier. During the fight, Dr. A revealed that he had many clones within the facility and that they couldn't kill him for good. Additionally, Favian realized that they weren't fighting the real Viktoria either, and that this was a simulacrum of her. Realizing that the fight was useless, they quickly 'killed' the two of them and then destroyed the arcane reactor causing a blackout. They used the blackout to escape to the surface, talking their way out of the facility. Finding it 'fun', Dr. A did not go after them nor put his life on the line for Kol-Han's cause in 3E500.
Timeline
1E928 - He joins Kol-Han as one of the initial Lightwatchers, becoming Aquarius.
1E931 - Aquarius is defeated, and sealed away until the Third Era.
3E498 - Dr. A fights the Darklight Crusaders in Gematirsk where they defeat one of his clones and a simulacrum he created of Vortex Viktoria Vier.
