3E317/05/12 - Xeycahiti is rocked by earthquakes and signs of impending volcanic catastrophe for a while now, as a particularly bad earthquake hits the town of Metzcoco. A small party gathers to deal with this, heading out into the jungle. They head through the city of Tletetitlan, and end up at the Twin Peaks Observatory, where they head up to talk to the priest. As this happens, another earthquake hits, and they barely manage to save everyone and themselves.

3E317/05/13 - The next day, they head through the jungle and meet a fire giant who warns them against proceeding further. They head into the Gate of Illumination shrine, solving some puzzles and opening the way into the caldera. They fight a Tlexolotl named Izel, but eventually realize that he isn’t evil and manage to calm him down and figure out a solution for good.
