3E465-09-21 - The town of Kolstermold comes under threat when beings of night take over the mansion of the Kolstermold family who govern over the town. Due to having no contact with the town, many people of interest have decided to travel to the town. They find out many of the townsfolk who served the family are trapped in the house as horrifying creatures roam about and an oppressive darkness takes over the location. The party unites together in order to mount a rescue and possibly bring an end to this threat - each for their own reasons. Some were once residents of the town while one of them - Can is a Blackreyne Hunter and another - Felix is a Knight of the Schattenjäger conspectus - both of who came here for the very purpose of resolving this situation. They enter the mansion and face off many deadly traps and face off against these creatures and manage a valiant rescue attempt - managing to rescue almost all the townspeople save for Joel, Ziegler's father who dies bravely fighting the enemies, sword in hand. The party go floor by floor, clearing each floor of undead beings until they finally face off against the source of the darkness - Tristan Kolster - the adopted son of the family who became susceptible to possession by a malevolent spirit referred to as The Geist due to his own warped perception of events. After everyone manages to talk to him and help him fight off the influence, finally the geist is brought to an end and sealed away. The party then returns to the town to some celebration and revelry with many mourning the loss of Joel. Can tells of his own story of adoption hitting home for him. Felix agrees to not report all the details to the Schattenjäger conspectus. With that they all share a drink before going their own separate ways.
