3E435/04/21 - In the town of Redrail, we zoomed into the main street tavern known as the "Rusty Dragonborn" where the brass-dragonborn bartender served the six summoned mercenaries their midday drinks. Wyatt was interested to see why a 'clanker' was here, but Sand-in-Eyes defended Silver and told Wyatt that they didn't use that word in this town. Eventually, the Sheriff (a blue-dragonborn) entered the tavern and explained the situation with the Nightgear Gang to them. He introduced the five named members of the gang, and explained how Silver was once one of them but tried to leave after discovering that the leader, Logan, was planning something related to an ancient evil. She was left to die but saved by an artificer. Once everyone was in, Sheriff Bluegun explained the plan to them: A train was passing through Redrail that evening whose front four carriages were full of boxes of rare metal ingots. They would be on the train and defend it from the Nightgear Gang. After some shopping, the sheriff and the party boarded the train.

3E435/04/22 - Kaelen set himself up on top of the engine for a better vantage point. Near midnight, the train slowed down to a speed of about 60 feet when going over some rough terrain, and at that point Kaelen spotted a bunch of warforged goons on horses descending upon the train. A bunch of them jumped aboard the train, and the goons were led by the ranger of the Nightgear party, Ola. Ola immediately recognised Silver and the two Warforged women began to fight. The fight was quick and deadly, with Cheesecake causing a horse to fall and take its rider down with it, and Sand-in-Eyes preventing Ola from kicking the Sheriff of the train (hoping it would be enough for him to become deputy-sheriff). One of the warforged climbed on top of the engine to fight Kaelen, but was blown off the train. Once all the goons were taken down, the party captured Ola and disembarked from the train in the middle of the desert. They questioned her under zone-of-truth and eventually intimidated her into revealing the hideout of the Nightgear Gang- a cave within a plateau five kilometers west of Redrail near a dried salt lake bed. They left her trapped underneath a large rock, but before they left she told Silver that Logan was taking power from the mythical Tarrasque that had created the Vyzum Wastes. The party braced through the cold night air of the Vyzum towards their destination.

3E435/04/23 - By the time the red sun was rising, the party found themselves in front of the pleateau within the flat salt lake bed. The dry salt flat was covered in swords half-stuck in the ground, a location Sand-in-Eyes recognised as a former battle-site of the recent civil war that he had fought in. Both the party and the Nightgears had spotted each other, and faced off against each other in the salt flat. The six party members plus the Sheriff on one side, and on the other side the Nightgear Gang. Bob, the barbarian, Dallas, the sniper, Vincent, the forge-cleric, and Logan, their leader. Logan offered to pay off his bounty and let the mercenaries go if they left Silver and the Sheriff here, but they refused. He then told them that he had offered peace and that they rejected it. A deadly battle commenced in which Bob rushed the sheriff, Vincent cast flame-strike on most of the party, and Logan immediately used the 'Tarrasque's Roar' upon them. The party was on the back foot immediately, as Kaelen and Dallas had a sniper-duel. Kaelen would've lost an eye to Dallas' critical shot if not for his shadow-wispiness. Shuttle locked-in and almost took down Vincent in one movement, followed up by the others who took him down. However, the party members started dropping like flies to the remaining three, including Cheesecake who simply died. Through clever planning, Wyatt managed to lure and take down Bob, while Kaelen won his duel and killed Dallas. Silver, finally getting her revenge, took down Logan as the repelling damage from his armor-of-agathys took her down with him. In the end, the only ones standing were Shuttle, the Sheriff, and Kaelen... And then Kaelen turned on the others seeing an opportunity to take all the money for himself. He won the quick-draw on Shuttle and downed her, but was then shot unconscious by the Sheriff. Sheriff Bluegun brought the others back to consciousness, arresting Kaelen and promoting Sand-in-Eyes to deputy sheriff. They then discovered a metallic shrine to the Tarrasque in the Nightgear hideout along with dozens of gold bars.
