Vae Liiyevna Zolotova, the Golden Thread, better known as Ballista Virgo, was a Lightwatcher in the First Era as well as one of the Ballista of Lunaria. She is known to use a golden thread as her weapon of choice that she loops and coils in accordance to the golden ratio, something she calls 'Gyromancy'.
She became one of Kol-Han's initial disciples and joined the Lightwatchers, but was defeated and sealed away until her reawakening in the Third Era during The White Ravens when she became a Ballista.
Vae was always lax with her duties and not as radicalized to the light as the other Ballistae, and was convinced by Ballista Gemini during The Light of Lunaria to stand against Kol-Han.
Vae would find meaning in the Pure Light, and became one of Kol-Han's initial disciples. He named her (Ballista) Virgo, and she joined the Lightwatchers. She was eventually defeated and sealed away deep under Ruskerton.
Virgo was reawakened during the Lunar Revolution during the events of The White Ravens. Archhunter Daerron awakened her after a thousand years, telling her that Saint Kol-Han needed her once more. She would resume her duties as one of Kol-Han's followers in this new age of Golden Triadism. She was assigned to advise House Koporev, though she rarely did so.
"Rii Vae, Aetha Yaalai Yaav Kol-Han Zakii Zo."
—Daerron to Vae, translating to "Awaken Vae, Kol-Han calls you after a thousand years."
In 3E498, she captured the Darklight Crusaders and Ballista Gemini alongside Ballista Libra. However, upon watching Libra chop off Gemini's hand, she dropped the Dark Filial and left, giving the party a chance to escape. Later in 3E500, she appeared in Gemini's dream to warn him about Ballista Leo, vowing to stay out of the fight.
