Situated on the eastern coast of Nosia Island, the city of Taltigo essentially serves as the Lunar Îles Protectorate's capital in the Lunar Sea, far from Sergorod. Taltigo inside the walls was slowly sinking until magically stabilized, and now is full of waterways.
It is one of the most strategically important cities in the Blood Sea, rivaled only by Jasiv of the Crimson Empire. There is a basic railroad that connects the city to Oursin on the other side of the island.
With canals instead of roads and bridges over them, the city has become one of the locations everyone must visit once in their lives. Lunar soldiers are heavily present as guards nowadays as they increase defenses in case of war. The walls of Taltigo aren't proper battlements, but simply floodwalls to prevent any more of the city to sink beyond what already has.
The city has deep near-underwater sewers that have become havens for the criminal underbelly of the city, as well as scarier factions such as the Cult of Varkanus.
Areas of the city include:
High Harbor. The bigger and more legit port.
Dark Harbor. A bit more shadier port, but more protected and hence more expensive. Often used by pirates.
North River & Sunbank. The main residential area of the city, stretching out of the floodgate walls.
Lilypad Home for Children, a small orphanage within the walls funded by Sif of the Phoenix Nebula.
Old Bridge. One of the earlier districts of the city, the buildings are notably a bit older than others.
The Sea's Embrace, a brothel and inn near the Dark Harbor owned and operated by the triton pirate lord Lady Lyn.
Sand Chapel. A district in the canal part of the city, built around the central temple.
The Temple of Aethys, which gives the Sand Chapel its name. It used to be one of the greatest temples to the god Sigmus, but the Golden Church Triadists converted the temple to Aethys-worship in 3E457.

Westgate. Main gate through the flood walls, through the river. A bit of a high end district, and also where the Lunar command is.
The Blackreyne Villa, a luxurious mansion owned by Viera Blackreyne.
Mason's Valley. An industrial area of the city.
Green Coast. The poorest sector of the venice-like part of the city. Most of it outside the floodwalls, and it has no protection from the sea.
Crowstown. It is a poor district with a significant Kenku population, hence the name.
The Haunted Way. This used to be a prison district back when the city was smaller, now converted into a residential area that is said to be haunted.
The Walls, which is a former prison that was converted into an orphanage that is on the poorer side, and said to be heavily haunted. The kids who grow up there have a reputation of not ending up well.
